The National Technical Assistance Center on Transition (NTACT) has also identified 12 evidence-based practices, 39 research-based practices and 36 promising practices for use in student development. NTACT suggests using graphic organizers, time delays, response prompting, graduated sequence of instruction and other effective instructional practices. Refer to the Effective Practices and Predictors chart (Effective Practices and Predictors Matrix, 2017; Test et al., 2010; Test, et al., 2009).
