The Newspapers in Education program helps support this project. Teachers order
the Sunday paper and bring in the coupon pages. Students cut out and sort the
coupons into twenty categories such as frozen foods, canned foods, diapers, and
condiments. Coupons are mailed to a distribution center where they are
forwarded to military groups in need. Students are currently working with ROTC
to target certain military groups!
