The goals of the SSTIC Graduation Subcommittee include

  • Improving graduation outcomes for students
  • Improving professional development for teachers and ESE staff on accommodations and modifications using Universal Design for Learning

The Graduation Subcommittee is a new SSTIC subcommittee and is currently gathering information on impediments to graduation, promising practices, national and state data, and other relevant topics.

What Works Clearinghouse

The federally funded What Works Clearinghouse evaluated 19 dropout prevention interventions and found eight with medium to large effects.
