High School/High Tech serves high school students with all types of
disabilities ages 14-22 who are pursuing various diploma options and are
interested in technology-related careers.

Curriculum for Community Employment and Social Skills (ACCESS) ACCESS Program
The
ACCESS Program is a community-based transition model for 18 to 22 year old
students located at Atlantic and Sheridan Technical Colleges. Under the
supervision of qualified staff, students learn a variety of work and community
skills.

County Public Schools Career Placement Program
Career Placement is a transition model for 18-22 year old students with
disabilities located at Sheridan, McFatter, and Atlantic Technical
Colleges. Students in the program must
have an interest in paid employment, and be able to navigate the community via
public transportation and/or personal car.

PASS
is a community-based transition model located at high schools throughout the
Broward County school district for students ages 18 through 22. Each student
participates in a curriculum that emphasizes: functional academics, social
skills, life skills, community-based instruction, and work experience.

Broward
County Public Schools Project WOW (Work Opportunities from Within)
The
Project WOW Initiative is a total immersion program which provides vocational
training leading to paid employment, including jobs within Broward County
Public Schools. Students are learning
clerical and data entry skills, inventory management, vehicle maintenance and
repair, countywide mail sorting, distribution, delivery and warehousing skills.
The first WOW site was the central bus terminal and the maintenance and
logistics departments
