Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Program (BSCIP)

Provides direct case management and resource facilitation for people with brain and spinal cord injuries including acute care, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, transitional living, assistive technology, home and vehicle modifications, nursing home transition facilitation and long-term supports for survivors and families through contracts with community-based agencies. Children receive services from Children's Medical Services staff.

Lighthouse of Southwest Florida provides comprehensive and customized training to individuals of all ages with blindness and vision impairment. Programs and services for babies, teens, adults, and seniors include training in safe travel (orientation and mobility), computers and technology, safety in the kitchen and management of medications, finances and the home, communication skills and braille, art, music, ballroom dancing, and English as a second language.
