Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act

The Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act provides the opportunity for individuals with disabilities to establish a tax-free account that can be used for medical and dental care, education, community-based supports, employment training, assistive technology, housing and transportation. This account allows individuals with disabilities to work and save money for specified expenses without negatively impacting eligibility for a federal benefits program.
