Financial Literacy
Assisting students with disabilities to develop the competencies needed to manage their own financial resources
The Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy (2015) defines financial literacy as follows:
"The ability to use knowledge and skills to manage one’s financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial security” (p.1).
The Financial Literacy section provides information and resources for school professionals, students and families regarding information to support the development of financial literacy of students with disabilities. The information in this section is divided into the following three pages:
