Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Career and Technical Education (CTE) refers to instruction and experiences designed to make students aware of the broad range of available careers, teach them general job preparatory skills and offer them courses of study that allow them to develop skills needed for specific careers. These may include career exploration courses, practical arts courses, diversified cooperative education, work experience, job entry programs and on‐the‐job training.
